Netflix’s answer to Prime Video’s Bosch sensation starring Titus Welliver is finally coming back with a new season. The streamer has debuted the first-look images from The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4, and also confirmed that the show will premiere around the world on February 5, 2026. The first batch of images can be found below, and fans can also count on the first official trailer for The Lincoln Lawyer coming sometime in the next few weeks. The Lincoln Lawyer stars Manuel Garcia Rulfo, and Scream icon Neve Campbell.
The Lincoln Lawyer is based on a series of bestselling novels by Michael Connelly, who also wrote the books that inspired Prime Video’s Bosch series. The series is a remake of the hit 2011 legal thriller starring Matthew McConaughey, and while the film earned critical acclaim, the series has also been a favorite of both critics and audiences. Netflix’s Lincoln Lawyer series currently sits at 90% from critics and 86% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes. Both scores are higher than the 83% and 82% of McConaughey’s film. The series was written and created for TV by David E. Kelley and Ted Humphrey, with Humphrey also showunning alongside EP Dailyn Rodriguez.
The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 is based on the sixth book in The Lincoln Lawyer series from Connelly, titled The Law of Innocence. It will follow Mickey Haller (Rulfo) as he faces his toughest case yet when he and his team work around the clock to prove his innocence in the murder of a former client. They must go to extraordinary lengths to clear his name, which includes facing off against the DA and even the FBI.
The Future of ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ Has Yet To Be Decided
The future for The Lincoln Lawyer beyond Season 4 is currently unknown. Netflix has yet to announce if the show has been renewed or canceled, but there are plenty of books in Connelly’s hit novel series for the show to work from. Connelly is also busy with more projects, including a second season of Ballard on Prime Video, as well as a young Bosch prequel series starring Cameron Monaghan as the titular character. Connelly has given the world a gift with his writing, and he continues to do so with some beloved TV shows.
