The Red Wings look to continue to win in Western Canada on Wednesday night, as they get set to face off with the Calgary Flames.

Then, John Gibson and company shut out the Vancouver Canucks on Monday, extending the team’s point streak to five games, placing them first in the Atlantic Division.
Now, there is still lots of hockey to be played, but how the Wings have managed to respond after some tough losses weeks ago shows this team has some grit that can translate to success.
Detroit faces a Flames team that got off to a miserable start this season, and it looked like they were going to finish near the bottom of the Western Conference. However, the team has picked up steam, winning three games in a row, all on home ice.
