Cherokee author hopes her novels spark curiosity about Native history
Cherokee author Vanessa Lillie hopes her suspense novels inspire readers to explore and learn about Native American history.
Matthew McConaughey and his wife, Camila, have released a festive cocktail and if you’re looking to try it, only one spot in El Paso will be selling the mixed drink.
The ‘Santa Pants’ cocktail, featuring McConaughey’s Pantalones Organic Tequila, is now on the menu at Corralito Steak House inside Sunland Park Casino. The merry beverage is crafted with Pantalones Organic Reposado, a splash of cranberry and lime, a ginger beer topper, and cranberry-rosemary garnish.
“Pantalones Santa Pants cocktail is the easiest way to get into the holiday spirit as the first sip transports you to a winter wonderland,” a news release said.
While the drink will be served at select bars and restaurants nationwide, you can grab a bottle of Pantalones Organic Tequila at a liquor store near you. The brand also released the recipe to make the cocktail, if you rather enjoy ‘Santa Pants’ at home:
- 2 ounces of Pantalones Organic Reposado Tequila
- 2 ounces of cranberry juice
- 1/2 ounce of lime juice
- Top with ginger beer and garnishes
