Returning Bullet’s debut delayed

The second debut of Brisbane Bullets’ Javon Freeman-Liberty will be delayed at least one week, with the star wing currently battling a viral illness.

Freeman-Liberty, who re-signed with the Bullets last month, will miss the club’s Round 11 fixture with the 36ers at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.

The 26-year-old, who averaged 19 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5 assists across his Bullets games earlier this season, will be replaced in Stu Lash’s squad by young gun Tristan Devers.

In better news for Brisbane fans, new signing Terry Taylor is with the team and is expected to make his NBL debut on Friday night, while Sam McDaniel (ankle) has been cleared to make his first appearance since Round 2.

The Round 11 fixture tips off at 7.30pm AEDT, live on ESPN.
