Epic Games is taking Fortnite offline for the release of OG Season 7 and update 39.10.

Less than two weeks into the new season, and Epic Games is getting ready to release the first major content update.
Fortnite update 39.10 launches alongside the release of OG Season 7, while the Winterfest event is scheduled to begin next week.
Unfortunately, however, the good news ends there, because the new content won’t be available until server maintenance comes to an end.

When does Fortnite server downtime begin for update 39.10?
Epic Games announced plans to take the game offline on X: “Peak in the Polar biome again, and enjoy some new Bug Fixes in v39.10!
“Downtime for v39.10 begins at 4 AM ET with matchmaking ending shortly beforehand.”
For UK fans, the game will be taken offline at 9am GMT. Matchmaking will be disabled at 8.30am GMT, which means you’ll need to join a game shortly before then.
When are Fortnite servers scheduled to be back online for update 39.10?
According to the Fortnite server status page, server downtime is currently scheduled to last for 90 minutes. This means the game should be offline for an hour and a half.
The game should be back online with the new content at 10.30am GMT UK time on the morning of December 11.
That’s 5.30am EDT / 2.30am PDT in the US, and 11.30am CET in Europe.
