Dates and venues locked in for Ireland’s Six Nations fixtures list

Ireland’s full fixture list for the 2026 Six Nations has been locked in.

Andy Farrell’s side will get their campaign underway with a first-ever Thursday night fixture in France.

This change was made to avoid a clash with the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics, which takes place in Milan on the Friday.

Ireland will make the trip to Paris on February 5 for the Stade de France fixture at 8.10pm Irish time.

Next up will be Italy at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, kicking off at 2.10pm on Saturday, February 14.

On Saturday, February 21, Ireland will travel to the Allianz Stadium/Twickenham in London for a 2.10pm kick-off.

There will then be the only ‘down week’ in the tournament, as opposed to the usual two breaks.

The removal of one of the break weeks is to help align with the new global rugby calendar.

After the break, Ireland will host Wales in the Aviva Stadium on March 6. Kick-off will be at 8.10pm.

Ireland’s final match will again be in Dublin, as they face Scotland on March 14 at 2.10pm.

The closing match of the tournament will be France against England in Paris at 8.10pm later that day.

Organisers said: ‘The Guinness Men’s Six Nations gets more competitive and unpredictable each year, inviting more and more fans to tune in and enjoy the drama.

‘In 2025, nearly 130 million fans were watching coverage of the Guinness Men’s Six Nations in home markets – a +6.30% increase compared to the previous year – and the set of fixtures for 2026 promises to keep fans hooked for five rounds of sporting entertainment.’
