England official fan club members will have to pay at least £3,129 for a World Cup final ticket if Thomas Tuchel’s side make it all the way next summer.
The Three Lions discovered their group stage opponents for the 2026 tournament in the United States, Canada and Mexico in Washington DC last Friday. They will go up against Croatia on June 17, before facing Ghana on June 23 and then Panama six days later.
Ahead of next summer’s highly-anticipated World Cup, the FA emailed members of the England Supporters’ Travel Club (ESTC) on Thursday with the pricing bands it has received from FIFA. And in that email, it was revealed the lowest price for any England game is just under £135
Indeed, the cheapest tickets are available for the group games against Panama and Ghana, which will be offered at £134.11. The opening game against Croatia, in Dallas, is more expensive at just below £200.
Prices for the round of 32 and last 16 are similar at £175 and £220, but the cost then increases tenfold should England progress. Tickets for the quarter-final are priced for official supporters at £508 each, while a single semi-final seat is £687 before an almost five-time rise to more than £3000 for the final in New Jersey on July 19.
It means that England fans will have to spent in excess of £5000 on match tickets should the Three Lions reach the World Cup final – something the nation hasn’t done since 1996.
Based on Thursday’s current exchange rate, the exact cost comes to £5186. England fans will be able to start paying for tickets from December 15, as they look to rubberstamp their plans for next summer.
As well as this, The FA states that supporters with ESTC loyal points collected by following the men’s national team will be offered better category two tickets at category three prices.
