Will Poulter & Noah Centineo Set Warfare Reunion With A Road Trip In First Look At Union County

Will Poulter and Noah Centineo‘s next starring roles together after Warfare have been revealed through a first look at their road trip movie, Union County. Poulter and Centineo portrayed soldiers in Alpha One Platoon and Alpha Two Platoon respectively on the cast of Warfare, a war film based on a real operation during the Iraq War.
Now, the pair will be reuniting for Union County, a drama focused on Poulter’s Cody Parsons, an Ohio resident going through a court-ordered drug recovery program. The drama tackles themes of addiction with his character at the center, following his attempt to recover during the height of the opioid epidemic, which hit Ohio the hardest starting at the end of the 1990s.
Collider released a first look image of Poulter and Centineo in Union County, showing the two actors reuniting in the project. The image focuses on Poulter, who’s sitting in the passenger’s seat of a car, staring out with a vacant look on his face. Centineo is in the background, driving him. This won’t be Poulter’s first time in recent years starring in a role that highlights the opioid crisis. He was also on the cast of Hulu’s Dopesick, a miniseries highlighting Purdue Pharma’s involvement in the epidemic. Poulter played Billy Cutler, a fictional Purdue sales representative whose story illustrates their involvement in exacerbating opioid addiction in the United States.
In Union County, he’s portraying a character on the opposite end, with Cody being someone who is recovering from the effects the epidemic and his addiction has had on his life. Specifically, it follows him trying to pick up the pieces of his life after his mandatory drug program. Other stars include Annette Deao, Elise Kibler, and Emily Meade.
Poulter’s newest role is just one of two big screen features he’ll be in next year: the other is I Love Boosters, a sci-fi comedy starring Demi Moore. As for Centineo, he’ll also be showing up as Ken Masters in the upcoming Street Fighter movie, which is coming out at the end of 2026.
As for Union County, it’ll be premiering at Sundance Film Festival in late January 2026. Since Poulter and Centineo have proven themselves talented in their various roles across film, the movie will likely be packed with emotion as they navigate the opioid epidemic. It already seems like a poignant drama that’ll draw plenty of attention for its subject matter.
