Don’t let Donald Trump interfere with UK democracy, Ed Davey tells Starmer

The Kremlin has welcomed the document, calling it “largely consistent” with Moscow’s vision.

Downing Street said Sir Keir spoke to Trump on Wednesday about the ongoing Ukraine peace talks, in a call with French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.

“Intensive work on the peace plan is continuing and will continue in the coming days,” a spokesperson said.
