How to send Moonpig cards for FREE this Christmas – but you need to act fast

CHILDREN hoping for a letter from Santa this Christmas will be able to get one with the help of Moonpig.

Writing to Santa in the North Pole is a time-honoured tradition every festive season, but it can be hard for Father Christmas to reply to every child.

But this year’s Christmas will be different thanks to a new, and free, service on Moonpig but there is only a limited time frame to get your hands on one.

Moonpig has revealed that they are working directly with the North Pole on a special mission: delivering letters from Santa to (nice) children across the UK.

Santa, through Moonpig, will send children free standard size letters that are available to order online until December 19.

All parents and carers have to do is head to the special page on the brand’s website to order the personalised note from one of seven templates and use the code SANTAFREE.

For the letter to be even more personal for the lucky kid, there are a range of stickers and customisable copy.

The letters can be timed for children to receive in the days leading up to Christmas Day to remind them to stay on his Nice List or as a treat on December 25.

In order to get the card for free, grown-ups must follow some very simple instructions.

First they have to go to the Moonpig UK website and find the “Letters from Santa” page and then choose from one of the seven styles.

Then after they’ve personalised the content they must select ‘standard size’ and they opt for ‘flexible delivery.’

Next they enter the code ‘SANTAFREE’ before finally waiting for Father Christmas’ card to arrive in the post.

This offer is perfect for kids – and parents- who may have missed the Royal Mail’s cutoff date of December 10 to get a letter back from Santa.

Those who had sent their Christmas letters by Royal Mail had to address them to: Father Christmas, Santa’s Grotto, Reindeerland, XM4 5HQ.

Other dates to watch out for ahead of Christmas

Other important dates to watch out for this festive season are when supermarket Christmas delivery slots open.

Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Iceland, Aldi and Ocado all offer delivery slots, with some also offering collection slots.

Most stores offer dates up to and including Christmas Eve but make sure you get yours book now to avoid dissappointment.
