After a turbulent year in the spotlight, Conor McGregor is making headlines for a very different reason… love.
The MMA star and his long-time partner Dee Devlin have finally tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Rome, marking a new chapter for one of Ireland’s most talked-about figures.
The marriage between the mixed martial arts fighter (37) and Ms Devlin (38), with whom he has four children, is taking place in the historic Chiesa di Santo Stefano Degli Abissini, just behind the Basilica of St Peter on the way to the Vatican Gardens.
Photos from inside the chapel show that the pews and altar of the church have been decked out with thousands of white roses and accompanying greenery.
