Tonight will see the return of one the most important nights in television as Stand Up to Cancer airs a full evening of entertainment in aim to raise vital awareness and funds for cancer research and treatment, and we’ve got all the details on what to expect from tonight’s show.
Stand Up to Cancer’s show has been running for a number of years and while it’s always a fun evening full of standup, performances and entertainment, its main aim is raise awareness and encourage people to not be scared of cancer screenings. So far they’ve raised over £113million since the project kicked off in 2012.
And tonight’s proceedings stand to be a night to remember, with King Charles set to deliver a message about his own experience of cancer. There’s also a lot more to come across the evening and here’s everything you need to know.
What time is Stand Up to Cancer on tonight?
Tonight’s events will start on Channel 4 at 7:30pm with hosts Adam Hill, Clare Balding, Vicky Pattison and Hannah Fry kicking off proceedings. The night of entertainment will last until 12:20am – so settle in for a night on the sofa, and maybe prepare some tissues.
What will happen on this year’s Stand Up to Cancer?
There’s a packed schedule for tonight with many famous faces expected to make an appearance, and also a number of real life stories of people’s experiences of cancer being shared too.
There will be a special edition of Celebrity Gogglebox starring a stellar line up including Kieran Culkin and his wife Jazz, and Celebrity Traitors stars Joe Marler and Nick Mohammed.
Davina McCall will be presenting live from a cancer clinic and there will also be an update on Alex Horne’s 24 hour singing challenge. You can also expect to see a special edition of The Last Leg.

So you don’t miss a thing we’ve put together a handy schedule of everything that’s happening tonight and the full timings.
- 7:30pm – Stand Up To Cancer starts – hosts Adam Hills, Clare Balding, Vicky Pattison and Hannah Fry will kick off the evening’s events with a 30 minute introduction.
- 8:00pm – A Message From King Charles III – Following his own experience with cancer, the King will share a personal message and encourage the audience to get cancer screenings.
- 8:10pm – Cancer Clinic Live – Davina McCall will be presenting live from one-off cancer clinic at Addenbrook’s Hospital in Cambridge and show patients experiencing pivotal moments in their cancer journeys.
- 9:10pm – Celebrity Gogglebox – Four celebrity pairings (David Tennant & Georgia Tennant, Kieran Culkin & Jazz Charton, Josh Hartnett & Tamsin Egerton and Nick Mohammed & Joe Marler) will be joining the Gogglebox regulars to give their verdict on the TV of the week.
- 10:10pm – Stand Up To Cancer: The Big Bash – Expect to see live performances, comedy and lots of fundraising as hosts Adam Hills, Clare Balding, Vicky Pattison and Hannah Fry return for an hour of entertainment and poignant story sharing.
- 11:15pm – The Last Leg of Stand Up To Cancer – Adam Hills isn’t done presenting for the evening as he hosts a special edition of The Last Leg with Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker. The trio will be joined by guests Jon Richardson, AJ Odudu and Matt Forde.
