Shane Lowry and Hollywood star Brendan Fraser to appear on Late Late Show Christmas Special

Host Patrick Kielty is set for the Late Late Show Christmas Special.
Irish golfing hero Shane Lowry, dancer and presenter Oti Mabuse and Hollywood star Brendan Fraser are among the names that will join host Patrick Kielty on this weeks Late Late Show.
Golfer Lowry will feature on the Christmas Special following a triumphant year for Europe’s Ryder Cup Team, and his own thrilling performance at the recent DP World Tour Championship in Dubai.
Lowry will be chatting about his proudest memories on the gold course, including bringing the Claret Jug to Offaly in 2019 after his Open victory, and how he intends to spend his Christmas break.
Oti Mabuse will be in studio this Friday night to talk about her exciting new role as head judge on Ireland’s Dancing with the Stars in 2026.
She’ll be joined by Eurovision legend Niamh Kavanagh, announced earlier this week as part of the glittering DWTS line‑up who will chat about the challenge ahead.
There will also be a live unveiling of three more celebrity dancers, who will join Patrick for a chat.
Hollywood star Brendan Fraser will talk to Patrick to talk about his so-called return to Hollywood coined the “Brenaissance” and latest role in the film Rental Family, also reflecting on his award-winning performance in The Whale.
Comedian Jason Byrne will also feature, ahead of his brand-new Irish tour in 2026, and will also reveal details about a new animation project loosely based on his own life.
Entertainment will be provided by singer-songwriter Tom Grennan who will perform his festive hit, ‘It Can’t Be Christmas” as well as music from singer and television presenter, Brooke Scullion.
