Actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld is expecting her first child with her husband Josh Allen.
The pair, who were married in May, announced the news via her newsletter and Instagram, posting a video showing Allen kissing Steinfeld’s belly.
In the clip, the pair are rugged up in winter gear as they hug and kiss each other in the snow.

She captioned the video with a single heart emoji.
Their close friends and family congratulated them in the comments, with actress Xochitl Gomez writing: “Omg I’m so happy for you two.”
Allen also commented a simple but sweet “I love you” under the video.
The Edge of Seventeen actress also announced her pregnancy in her latest Beau Society newsletter, posting the video there underneath the list of “29 moments I loved this year” as she turned 29 this week.

The list also included her wedding day, her first college football game, girls’ trips, therapy, and the all-nighter she pulled for the Sinners premiere.
Allen and Steinfeld got married in May this year, with the actress telling Bustle that she wanted to start a family with the NFL athlete after the pair tied the knot.
“I literally thank God every day that I found my person, and it’s the greatest thing in the world,” she told the outlet.
“Life makes sense. Everything makes sense. I feel like I am stepping into the version that I’ve always dreamed of being, having so much to do with being with him.”

The Sinners star and Allen have been romantically linked since 2023 and debuted their relationship the following year, when Allen posted a photo with Steinfeld overlooking the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
In 2024, the pair announced their engagement on their Instagram pages, sharing a photo of Allen bent on one knee during what looked like an elaborate proposal, complete with dozens of candles and a pink floral display.
Earlier this year, Steinfeld said in an interview with Who What Wear that Allen made sure she was dressed up for the day and still caught her completely by surprise.
“I’m so grateful that he did it the way he did so that I looked good, and we have these photos that we’ll have and cherish for the rest of our lives that I’m not looking at being like, ‘What was I wearing?'” she said.
“We were in Malibu, which is my happy place, and it was magical. That’s the word.”
