According to The Chosun Daily, Byun’s agency Team Hope told local media on Friday that the two entertainers are “currently in a serious relationship with marriage in consideration,” while emphasizing that no wedding date has been set.

Team Hope added that both Byun and Tiffany hope to inform fans directly once their plans are finalized.

“We appreciate the warm interest and kindly ask for blessings with the hope that grace and love accompany the couple’s future,” the agency said.

Earlier media reports suggested the couple were planning to marry next fall, citing their growing closeness after working together on the Disney+ original series “Uncle Samsik,” which was released in May 2024.

Born Stephanie Young Hwang, 36-year-old Tiffany rose to global fame as a member of Girls’ Generation, which debuted in 2007, according to Yonhap News Agency. She later expanded her career into acting in 2011.

Byun, 39, made his acting debut in 2011 with the short film “Saturday Work.” After gaining recognition in the independent film scene, he rose to mainstream prominence through the 2014 hit drama “Misaeng.”

He has since starred in acclaimed television series including “Six Flying Dragons” and “Mr. Sunshine,” as well as films such as “Socialphobia,” “A Taxi Driver,” “Hansan: Rising Dragon,” and “She Died.”
