YET another Strictly row has broken out as a star has been accused of “copying” the routines choreographed by professional Katya Jones.
Since joining the show almost a decade ago, the dancer has been praised for her creative dance routines – lifting the glitterball back in 2017.

But now, it seems Katya’s dances have gained traction across the pond, perhaps too much.
Witney Carson, who is a professional on Dancing With The Stars – the US version of Strictly – has been accused of “copying” Katya’s routine.
A TikTok user shared a compilation of clips, comparing similarities between Katya and Witney’s routines.
One clip showed Katya’s paso doble to The Plaza of Execution while another displayed her couple’s choice to Creep by Radiohead, both of which Witney had similar routines.

The video has garnered over 200,000 views, and former Strictly professional Oti Mabuse was one of those.
Commenting that she actually has the same theory about Witney, she wrote underneath the video: “Been saying this for years….”
While others agreed there were many similarities between the routines.
However, some defended Witney, with one user writing: “These moves existed long before Kayta”.
Katya was left devastated earlier this month when she was axed from this series of Strictly with partner Lewis Cope.
The duo shocked fans as they ended up in the bottom two, facing Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin in a surprising dance off.
Katya and soap star lost out, leaving the former “heartbroken”.
Before leaving the show, Lewis paid a gushing tribute to his teacher Katya, saying: “It’s been incredible and will be a memory for the rest of my life, and I think’s all down to you, you’ve given me everything as a friend as a teacher.”
A tearful Katya said: “I think you have created so many moments for Strictly Come Dancing that will be in the history books, you will be remembered as the best male celebrity we ever had on the show.
“I really hope Lewis Cope will be remembered for the incredible person you are.”
She went on to call him a “kind, humble gentleman”.
