Betway Launches Play’n GO Content in Botswana

Betway has introduced Play’n GO content to players in Botswana, marking the supplier’s second African market entry with the igaming operator following a South Africa rollout earlier in the year. The agreement enables Betway customers in Botswana to access a selection of Play’n GO titles, including Book of Dead, Reactoonz and Rise of Olympus.

Betway continues to expand its presence across regulated African markets, and the addition of Play’n GO content forms part of that strategy. Play’n GO now supplies games to more than 35 regulated jurisdictions worldwide and has a portfolio of over 400 titles available across multiple regions.

The supplier has also been active in broader brand initiatives, including a sponsorship agreement with the MoneyGram Haas Formula 1 team and the launch of its Play’n GO Shop, which complements its existing Play’n GO Music brand. In October, the company staged a promotional event as part of the Reactoonz 100 launch, sending the character Garga to an altitude of more than 35,500 metres.

Both companies stated that the Botswana launch extends their existing collaboration and broadens access to live content in the region’s regulated igaming sector.

Magnus Olsson, Chief Commercial Officer of Play’n GO, said: “The African gaming market is one of the most exciting and energetic in the world and we’re thrilled to be entering Botswana for the first time with our partners Betway.

“Play’n GO intends to be in every regulated market in the world, and Botswana now joins over 35 other regulated markets globally that are able to offer our world class games.”
