Celebrities, critics and fans have all shared their reactions, and from the moment it was released, the internet hasn’t stopped talking about it. The latest celebrity to join the chorus of appreciation is Tisca Chopra.
While many know her for her powerful performances, the Taare Zameen Par actress recently made her directorial debut with Saali Mohabbat, which premiered on Zee5 on December 12. Amid the ongoing buzz around Dhurandhar, Tisca took to Instagram to share a story appreciating Aditya Dhar’s film.
Here’s What Tisca Chopra Said About Dhurandhar
Tisca Chopra took to Instagram to share her appreciation for Dhurandhar. She praised Preetisheel Singh for transforming the actors completely into their characters and lauded cinematographer Vikash Nowlakha for his spectacular work behind the camera. She also commended Shiv Kumar Paniker for the film’s editing, Ojas Gautam, Yami Gautam’s brother, for creating a superb trailer, and Shaswat Sachdev for composing the film’s soundtrack. Last but certainly not least, she applauded Aditya Dhar for delivering “mad mazza on screen.” Aditya, reposted the story on his Instagram handle and replied to Tisca with red heart and hug emojis.
Saali Mohabbat Plot
Appreciating the creatives behind a film is something only someone who understands the craft can do, and Tisca Chopra certainly fits the bill. The actress recently stepped behind the camera herself with her directorial debut, Saali Mohabbat, which premiered on December 12.
Saali Mohabbat stars a stellar cast including Radhika Apte, Divyenndu, Anurag Kashyap, Anshumaan Pushkar, and Sauraseni Maitra in pivotal roles. The film has been bankrolled by Jyoti Deshpande, Manish Malhotra and Dinesh Malhotra.
While this is Tisca Chopra’s first directorial film, it marks Manish Malhotra’s second production venture after Gustaakh Ishq. Taking to Instagram, the producer had announced the project back in November, describing it as a film that allows viewers to see the world through a woman’s eyes.
Speaking about Tisca Chopra, he called her a “talented” actor who has now also emerged as a “writer and director.” It will be interesting to see how Tisca’s directorial debut fares.
