As per early estimates, the film has earned an estimated Rs 32 crore, thus surpassing its opening day collections of Rs 28 crore. As per the numbers, the film has seemingly matched last Saturday’s collections, indicating strong growth and excellent word of mouth, propelling it further. This is currently in line with early trends that suggested the film was set to collect Rs 31–33 crore net.
‘Dhurandhar’ occupancy
‘Dhurandhar’ recorded an overall 45.81% Hindi occupancy on Friday. Morning shows began on a slow note, recording around 19.64% occupancy. However, the film quickly set itself up for an upward graph, with afternoon shows recording a sharp jump to 37.37% and evening shows growing to approximately 53.08%. The highest footfalls were reported during night shows, with an impressive 73.16% occupancy.
‘Dhurandhar’ worldwide collections
‘Dhurandhar’ now boasts of a gross collection of Rs 287.25 crore. With an aditional Rs 70 crore coming in from Overseas markets, the film’s worldwide total now stands at an impressive Rs 357.25 crore.

The film’s week 1 total net collection stands at an impressive Rs 207.25 crore. The film currently occupies the 12th spot among the highest first-week collections in Bollywood history. It stands Rs 12 crore behind Vicky Kaushal’s period drama ‘Chhaava’, which went on to become Bollywood’s highest-grossing film of 2025, earning an estimated Rs 219.25 crore in its first week. The film eventually rounded up its India Hindi net collections at an estimated Rs 585.7 crore.

As per advance booking reports, the flm is expected to rake in strong collections on Saturday and Sunday. While the final outcome will largely depend on the audience turnout, early trends suggest that the film is set to challenge long-standing second weekend box office records of some of the biggest blockbusters. As per early reports, the film is tracking an estimated second weekend haul of over Rs 120 crore net. If it hits the mark, it will be on par with the likes of ‘Pushpa 2’.
Highest second weekend collections
With this performance, the film has already surpassed Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2’, which earned Rs 27 crore on its second Friday. It has also outperformed the romantic hit ‘Saiyaara’, which collected around Rs 18 crore on its second Friday. Currently, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ holds the record for the highest second weekend collection, with a three-day total estimated at around Rs 127 crore.With ‘Pushpa 2’ and ‘Chhaava’ occupying the top two spots, Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Stree 2’ currently holds the third position with a Rs 92.90 crore haul. Sunny Deol’s ‘Gadar 2’ follows close behind with Rs 90.54 crore, while Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ rounds off the top five with a collection of Rs 87.56 crore.
‘Dhurandhar’ vs ‘Chhaava’
While ‘Dhurandhar’ fell a few crore short of beating Chhaava’s impressive week 1 run, the film is now on course to possibly score a victory with its second weekend collections. The Vicky Kaushal starrer recorded a second weekend collection of Rs 107.50 crore. With over Rs 30 crore already in its kitty and strong growth expected over the weekend, it remains to be seen if ‘Dhurandhar’ can surpass this record. Despite being from different genres, both films stormed the box office, even as some critics questioned their premises.
Ranveer Singh’s highest second-week collection
Ranveer Singh is now set to create a new record for himself and could potentially surpass the week 2 collections of his film ‘Padmaavat’, which currently stands at the 22nd spot on the list of highest second-week grossers with Rs 69.5 crore. Meanwhile, his cop-action film ‘Simmba’ earned an estimated Rs 61.62 crore in its second week.With over Rs 30 crore already in its kitty, ‘Dhurandhar’ is now looking at another strong Rs 100 crore weekend, potentially outperforming even newer releases like ‘Saiyaara’.
Upcoming competition with ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ and ‘TMMTMTTM’
‘Dhurandhar’ is enjoying a largely uncontested run at the box office this week. However, the release landscape is set to shift next week with James Cameron’s ‘Avatar: Fire & Ash’ arriving in theatres, followed by Kartik Aaryan’s ‘TMMTMTTM’ during the Christmas week, both of which are expected to eat into ‘Dhurandhar’s screen counts. However, it remains to be seen if the film can manage to maintain its grip and have an extended run all through the holiday week.
‘Dhurandhar Part 2’ gears up for release
Filmmaker Aditya Dhar, who is currently basking in the success of his film, promised the “part 2 is coming” and that he will “best to live up to this encouragement” after Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan shared his opinion about the film. Replying to Hrithik on his second post, Aditya wrote, “Deeply humbled by your love for #DHURANDHAR, @iHrithik Sir.
