Georgian Minister: Our relations with Azerbaijan are based on cooperation and mutual respect

“Friendly relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan are based on cooperation and mutual respect. Our relations with every state institution of Azerbaijan are exemplary,” said Mariam Kvrivishvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, APA’s local bureau reports.

The minister said that Azerbaijan is Georgia’s partner in transport, energy and all other sectors.

“We are in daily contact with our Azerbaijani colleagues, as we cooperate in many areas. I would like to especially emphasize our cooperation within the framework of the Middle Corridor project. Georgia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are working diligently on a mutually agreed plan and schedule to make this project the most important transport route,” Kvrivishvili added.
