Red Deerian wins $100K on LOTTO MAX EXTRA

Red Deer resident Cody Lychuk took home $100,000 just in time for the holidays thanks to the EXTRA he added to his LOTTO MAX ticket.
Lychuk won his prize in the Nov. 18 draw by matching the last six digits in the EXTRA draw: 6445407.
The winner said he scanned the ticket on his Lotto Spot app first thing in the morning, and just sat looking at it stunned.
“I was kind of in shock,” Lychuk said.
“I woke up my wife to show her and make sure I was seeing it right!”
Lychuk said he was excited to take his winnings right to the bank.
“I’m planning to pretty much just put it all in savings and invest it. It’s truly just surreal and exciting.”
Lychuk purchased his winning ticket from Shell at 10 Vermont Ave. in Red Deer.
