Alison Hammond has thrown her hat into the ring to become the next host of Strictly Come Dancing , calling the BBC show gig her “dream job.” During an appearance on Loose Women , the This Morning presenter jested that she was the new host, with the BBC not even knowing it yet. Hammond, a former contestant, said the BBC would be “silly not to have me” as a replacement for Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.
