Dorking Wanderers Go Fully Unfiltered: Supporters Invited Live Into The Changing Room During Game

Dorking Wanderers have never been a football club to knock politely before entering new territory — and now they’re booting the door clean off. On Tuesday, 16 December, Dorking Wanderers will become the first club in the world to live-stream their entire changing-room experience as they prepare to face Weston-super-Mare in National League South.

And yes you read that right, live streaming all of it!!!

From the moment manager Marc White walks through the door pre-match to the second he leaves the ground, the cameras will be rolling. Every team talk, every raised eyebrow, every barked instruction and inevitable flash of fury will be broadcast live across Dorking Wanderers F.C. channels, offering supporters an entirely unfiltered look at football life behind closed doors.

For a sport that still treats dressing rooms like state secrets, it’s a move as bold as a last-minute goalkeeper run-up — and entirely on brand for Marc White.

The live stream begins at 18:00, in time for White’s first pre-match address. What follows is anyone’s guess. With Dorking Wanderers, it usually is.

The match itself will also be streamed live on DAZN, completing what may be the most immersive non-league football experience ever attempted. This isn’t fly-on-the-wall documentary editing or post-match soundbites. It’s real-time access to the raw mechanics of managing, motivating and sometimes surviving a football club on matchday.

Supporting the broadcast are OLBG, Principal Partners of Dorking Wanderers, who have been closely aligned with the club’s refreshingly open approach to storytelling.

Richard Moffat, OLBG CEO, said: “Marc White and Dorking Wanderers have captured the attention of the public with the behind-the-scenes perspective they’ve shared with fans through the brilliant work of the team at Bunch of Amateurs. This live-stream is the next step in giving supporters fully unfiltered, never-before-seen access to the reality of managing, working, and playing within a football club.

“As Principal Partner of Dorking Wanderers, OLBG has loved being part of Marc and the team’s journey and the story they’ve helped bring to life, and we’re looking forward to fans getting a proper peek behind the curtain next Tuesday.”

That “peek behind the curtain” is exactly what makes this moment significant. Football has spent decades polishing its public image, sanding down the edges and sanitising the noise. Dorking Wanderers are heading in the opposite direction — trusting fans with the truth, warts and all.

Whether it’s tactical brilliance, motivational chaos or something in between, one thing is guaranteed: it won’t be dull.

How to watch

The live dressing-room stream will be available via the Bunch of Amateurs and Dorking Wanderers YouTube channels:

Football has always been at its best when it’s honest. On Tuesday night, Dorking Wanderers are betting that honesty beats polish — and inviting the whole world to watch.
