As the snow comes down in West Lafayette fans will be trekking over to Mackey Arena to see the Boilermakers take on the Golden Eagles from Marquette. This is a series that has become almost a staple with this being the fourth season in a row these teams have met in the non-conference. Though, for a change of pace they decided to play in December this season instead of November as in years past. Over those last three games Purdue is 2-1. Drew has a more in-depth look at Marquette that you’ll want to take a look at. Also, don’t forget our friends at Anonymous Eagle who are some of the nicest SB Nation folks we’ve ever interacted with. They’ve got plenty on this game if you’ve got time. They are a bit disappointed in this season’s team and seem to think things are actually getting worse for the team. That bodes well for Purdue. We hope.
