Owen Hargreaves claims there’s a secret reason Wolves fans aren’t happy with Jorgen Strand Larsen

Wolves suffered yet another defeat at the hands of Arsenal in what was another game that saw it all slip away in the second half.
Rob Edwards set his players up very defensively against the Premier League leaders, and as much as we all want an attacking brand of football, it was the right decision.
Wolves have conceded more than any other team in the top-flight, though quite a few of the goals can be put down to unforced errors.
Sam Johnstone can count himself unlucky to see Bukayo Saka’s corner rebound off the goalkeeper and into the back of the net.
And Yerson Mosquera handed Arsenal three points with an own goal in the dying embers. This is the frustrating thing for Wolves: they are their own undoing.
Use one word to describe that performance, Wolves fans…😒

Owen Hargreaves on Jorgen Strand Larsen criticism
Jorgen Strand Larsen was a topic of conversation against Manchester United, both for his performance and what happened when he was substituted.
The Wolves fans could be heard jeering Strand Larsen when he was taken off, which led to a rather furious reaction from the striker at that point and after the game.
There were further developments this week after Rob Edwards claimed that Strand Larsen really cares for the club after a private conversation.
Speaking ahead of Wolves’ clash with Arsenal, Owen Hargreaves claimed on TNT Sports that the reason Wolves fans aren’t too happy with Strand Larsen is due to him wanting to join Newcastle in the summer.

Tolu Arokodare piles the pressure on Jorgen Strand Larsen
Tolu Arokodare managed to equalise for Wolves with a smart header against Arsenal at the Emirates and looked better in possession of the ball than Strand Larsen.
Rob Edwards may just be inclined to give the striker a chance up top next time out, especially as Arokodare was omitted from Nigeria’s squad for the African Cup of Nations.
The substitutions really gave Wolves impetus towards the end of the game, as Fer Lopez, Mateus Mane, and Jackson Tchatchou all drove at Arsenal and got into promising positions.
Given Wolves’ position, it’s now time to experiment, as what has happened so far this season hasn’t worked, despite tonight’s strong defensive performance.
