The reigning Vezina and Hart Trophy winner is officially back.
The 32-year-old makes his return to the ice just three weeks after being sidelined due to arthroscopic knee surgery.
Hellebuyck enters Saturday’s matchup with a .913 save percentage and 2.51 GAA through 14 appearances this season. He last played on Nov. 15 in a shootout win against Calgary.
The four-time all-star holds a .918 save percentage and 2.56 GAA over 582 career games.
Winnipeg will hope the star netminder’s return can help turn around its season, as the Jets are currently seventh in the Central Division with a 14-15-1 record.
