What Noah Okafor wants from Daniel Farke to make him a Leeds United success

Adam Underwood continues to earn criticism for his work in the transfer window at Leeds United, or more so, the club’s lack of signings. Eventually, 10 came through the door.
More than £100m was spent on the likes of Anton Stach (£19.9m), Lucas Perri (£15.6m), and many more, while Lukas Nmecha and Dominic Calvert-Lewin were both added to Daniel Farke’s squad on free deals.
However, Leeds fans believe the club needed more in attack. Dominic Calvert-Lewin believes the club’s current attacking options are enough, but fans believe Leeds needed one or two more in the final third.

Harry Wilson’s stunning form for Fulham of late is a sore subject for Leeds fans, having come so close to joining the Whites on deadline day. Noah Okafor will be hoping he can show Leeds fans, he is enough.
Noah Okafor says what he wants from Daniel Farke and fans
Ahead of Brentford on Sunday, £18m signing Okafor has managed just two goals and plenty of criticism has been laid at his door. While many think he’s Leeds’ biggest threat, Okafor has had to improve quickly.
The win at Wolves, in which Okafor scored his first goal, saw the Switzerland star begin to realise the intensity of the Premier League. Losing the ball in his own half, Wolves opened the scoring at Molineux.

Jon Newsome said Leeds couldn’t afford passengers after Okafor’s mistake, while Farke said he spoke to Okafor behind the scenes. Now, speaking to Sky Sports, Okafor says he needs the love of his manager.

“Football is all about confidence,” Okafor said, ahead of Sunday’s clash against Brentford in which he is set to start, with Lukas Nmecha missing: “You have to go out as if you’re playing in the street with friends.
“Otherwise if you put pressure on yourself, it doesn’t end good. If you have a team, fans and a coach who believes in you, you can play with a smile. I’m a player like this,” Okafor continued before Sunday’s clash.

Who has been Leeds’ best signing of the summer, so far?
Tricky. Lucas Perri, Jaka Bijol, Sean Longstaff, Gabi Gudmundsson, Anton Stach, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Nmecha are first choice, even if Nmecha is missing Sunday’s clash with an injury picked up v Chelsea.
Okafor has been rotated, while James Justin and Seb Bornauw have been forced to wait for their chance in the side. Stach was in Troy Deeney’s TOTW last week and has had to play with a broken finger and rib.
Perri and Bijol are improving, while Calvert-Lewin can become the third English Leeds player to score in four Premier League games in a row against Brentford today. However, the best three are obvious.
Nmecha is Leeds’ joint top-scorer and he arrived on a free. Gudmundsson has been superb at left-back despite the odd mistake and Longstaff, prior to his injury, has been a leader. Okafor needs to get going.
