Snowfall totals for Dec. 13, 2025, in Columbus and across Ohio

Snow in Columbus: Public service director shares storm response plans

The National Weather Service reported 5.4 inches of snow in Columbus on Dec. 13, which tops the previous record of 3.6 inches of snowfall set for the date in 1945.

The record snowfall was recorded at John Glenn Columbus International Airport. Here are snowfall totals gathered by the agency for other areas around central Ohio:

  • Columbus, Far West Side: 5.5 inches
  • Galena: 5.5 inches
  • Ashville: 5.3 inches
  • Kingston: 5.3 inches
  • Lithopolis: 5 inches
  • Gahanna: 4.2 inches
  • Heath: 4 inches
  • Lancaster: 4 inches
  • Grove City: 2.8 inches
  • Hilliard: 1.7 inches

The National Weather Service also reported 5.2 inches of snow on Dec. 13 in Cincinnati, 3.6 inches in Dayton, 2.1 inches in Cleveland, and just a trace in Toledo.
