Strictly’s George Clarke makes ‘uncomfortable’ confession just days before final

Strictly Come Dancing star George Clarke is hoping to make it to next week’s grand final
Strictly Come Dancing star George Clarke has made an “uncomfortable” confession, just days before the final.
The popular BBC dance show returned to our screens on Saturday night (13 December), with hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman welcoming back the four remaining couples for the semi-final.
YouTuber George and his fellow contestants, Balvinder Sopal, Amber Davies and Karen Carney, each performed two routines, hoping to dance their way into next weekend’s grand finale.
On Sunday (14 December), George took to Instagram to share some heartfelt thoughts on his Strictly experience, penning: “Wardrobe heard the judges say they wanted to see more George and ran with it.
“Honestly, last night was hands down the most fun we’ve had this whole competition. The general theme for us throughout has been to let go and I think it’s safe to say we did!” reports Wales Online.

“In the launch show it looked uncomfortable to simply stand on some steps and clap, 12 weeks later and we’re devoting a twerk solo to Craig.
“We are so so grateful always for the support and for the opportunity each week to be able to grow and learn and now we’re one results show away from the final.
“I’m (George) not a performer, never mind dancer but I think nights like last night make me believe that may be changing, fingers crossed that we get one final week to prove it! Love you all, Team Warrkey.”
Fans were quick to flood the comments section with messages of support. One fan gushed: “Never been more proud of you! You and Alexis are doing so amazing and it’s been such a blessing watching you enjoy yourself and smash it every week.”
Another chimed in: “George, your biggest critic has always been yourself. I’m so chuffed that you fully threw yourself into the performances last night, you were having the time of your life and it was a joy to witness! ! Can’t wait to see what you and Alexis whip up next week if you make it to the final.”

A third admirer enthused: “You are everything this show is about! You looked like you were having the time of your life and it was so fun to watch!”
Echoing the sentiment, a fourth fan said: “So much fun. Isn’t that what this show is all about? ! Brilliant routines and sheer happiness – just wonderful!”
On Saturday night, George and his pro partner Alexis Warr earned a total of 72 points after performing a Charleston to We No Speak Americano by Yolanda Be Cool and a Samba to Volare by Gipsy Kings.
At the end of the semi-final, Karen and Carlos Gu topped the leaderboard with a joint score of 78 points. Hot on their heels were Amber and Nikita Kuzmin with 77 points, followed by George and Alexis.
Balvinder and Julian Caillon, who’ve already survived five dance-offs, found themselves at the bottom of the rankings with 70 points. Craig Revel Horwood will have the deciding vote in tonight’s dance-off, which will determine this year’s grand finalists.
