Is Josh Jacobs playing in Week 15 with knee injury?

Josh Jacobs didn’t practice Wednesday and Thursday due to a lingering knee injury that has him questionable for Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos, but his absence appears to have been precautionary. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Green Bay Packers running back is expected to play in the Week 15 road contest.

It’s a good thing, too. The Broncos feature one of the NFL’s very best defenses, especially against the run where they rank second in yards allowed and first in yards per carry. The NFL’s third-leading touchdown scorer on the ground with 12, Jacobs should give the Packers a better shot at cracking that defensive front.

Jacobs’ presence will be especially important with backup running back Emanuel Wilson’s status less clear for Sunday. Wilson is questionable with an illness, and according to Schefter, the team wants to see how he feels Sunday before making a determination on whether he’ll play.

Should I start Josh Jacobs in fantasy?

Yes, on pure expected volume alone. Jacobs may not have a monster game against the Broncos, but he should touch the ball enough to give him a reasonable floor and a few cracks at the end zone. Not to mention, he’s been a top 10 fantasy back all season.
