After a week off, the San Francisco 49ers are back in action on Sunday, as they’ll host the Tennessee Titans at Levi’s Stadium for an interconference battle in Week 15.
With just four weeks left in the regular season, San Francisco has put together a 9-4 record and currently holds the sixth seed in the conference. While winning should be the top thing on their mind this week, they could also benefit from other games going certain ways.
Here’s a list of what the 49ers and their fans should be rooting for in Week 15:
If the Rams and Seahawks both fall, the 49ers would climb back into the top spot in the division, as they currently hold the tiebreakers over both teams.
If the Broncos beat the Packers, it keeps Green Bay at just nine wins, while San Francisco could earn their 10th on Sunday. A loss for the Packers, Rams and Seahawks would propel the 49ers up to the top spot in the conference.
The remaining three results would just make life a little easier for San Francisco, either making it more difficult to miss the playoffs or easier to steal the top wild-card spot.
