The Kansas City Chiefs have ruled the AFC West for the better part of a decade, so you best believe that their division rival Chargers wanted to send the Chiefs into an extended offseason.
And, of course, their social media team came prepared.
With the Chiefs needing to win in order to keep their playoff hopes alive, the Chargers shut down Kansas City’s potential go-ahead (or tying) drive with an interception by Derwin James Jr. And though the Chiefs’ playoff hopes were already slim, the results around the league cemented their elimination on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium.
Just look at how the Chargers’ official Twitter/X account celebrated that elimination. They were happy to drive the Chiefs over to Cancun.
