Packers HC Matt LaFleur Takes Pointed Shot at NFL Referees

Matt LaFleur and the Green Bay Packers were able to take care of business against the Chicago Bears in Week 14, pulling out a hard-fought 28-21 victory to take back the lead in the NFC North division race.
In the latest installment of one of the biggest rivalries in sports, the Packers made a strong statement. They are making it clear once again that they are legitimate Super Bowl contenders.
While the Bears are truly a serious threat and put up a great fight against Green Bay, the Packers now control their own destiny.

Throughout the course of the game, there were multiple calls and non-calls be the referees that drew frustration from Green Bay fans. Most notably, the Chicago offensive line appeared to get away with some holding calls.
Following the win, LaFleur did not hesitate to speak out with his thoughts about the missed calls. He took a blunt and pointed shot at the officials in his post-game press conference.
“I guess I don’t know what holding is anymore,” LaFleur said.
Despite the frustration that Green Bay had with the officials, a win is a win. The Packers are now 4-0 against NFC North opponents. They will have another showdown against the Bears in two weeks on Saturday Night Football in Week 17.
Jordan Love once again had a big game for Green Bay. He ended the game completing 17 of his 25 pass attempts for 234 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. Josh Jacobs chipped in with 86 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries to lead the running game.
Defensively, the Packers did an excellent job in the first half. They held Chicago to just three points. Caleb Williams and company played much better in the second half, but it wasn’t enough to come up with a win.
