Oilers recall F Jones from AHL, move D Walman to LTIR

The Edmonton Oilers have recalled Max Jones from the AHL’s Bakersfield Condors on Thursday and placed forwards Jack Roslovic and Connor Clattenburg on the injured reserve.

The team also moved defenceman Jake Walman to the long-term injured reserve.

Clattenburg is dealing with an eye injury he sustained last week and has missed the last two games for the Oilers.

He has one goal in five games this season for Edmonton.

Roslovic has missed the past five games with an undisclosed injury, last appearing on Nov. 25 against the Dallas Stars. The 28-year-old has 10 goals and 18 points in 23 games this season.

Walman has been out since Nov. 20 with a lower-body injury and has been out for seven straight games.

He has three goals and 10 points in 17 games while averaging 20:07 of ice time.

Jones, 27, has five goals and seven points in 17 AHL games this season.

The Oilers are coming off a 4-3 overtime loss to the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday and will face the Detroit Red Wings tonight.
