Lane Hutson’s Girlfriend Reveals Sneak Peek Into Canadiens Stars’ Partners’ Pre-Christmas Party

Montreal Canadiens defenseman Lane Hutson has been in the spotlight for his play on the ice, but over the weekend, attention shifted briefly off the rink. His girlfriend, Kylie Roberts, gave fans a warm behind-the-scenes look at a festive pre-Christmas gathering with the partners of Canadiens players.

Hutson is coming off an outstanding season after winning the Calder Memorial Trophy as the NHL’s top rookie in 2024-25. Now, he’s picked up right where he left off this year, an important part of Montreal’s blue line. While he’s been making an impact, Roberts has been offering small peeks into the cozy holiday celebration.

A Festive Gathering for Canadiens Partners

Roberts reposted several Instagram stories from a pre-Christmas party held over the weekend. The event was organized by Sam Montembeault’s wife, Daryanne Montembeault. It brought together the partners of the Montreal Canadiens. The celebration was hosted under the banner “The Better Habs,” creating a relaxed and welcoming holiday atmosphere.

Among those in attendance were Brendan Gallagher’s wife Emma Fortin, Noah Dobson’s wife Alexa Dobson, and Josh Anderson’s wife Paola Anderson, along with Samantha Boos.

One story shared by Fortin featured a beautifully set kitchen table filled with food, accompanied by a sign reading “Welcome to the Better Habs,” captioned simply, “Better Habs Christmas,” and featuring a pink emoji.

Another clip posted by Boos showed the group gathered in the living room, watching a Canadiens game together, blending hockey and holiday spirit in classic Montreal fashion.

Dobson shared a close-up of the impressive spread, featuring fruits, juices, cheeses, and breads, praising the host with the caption, “The best hostess @daryanneayotte,” complete with a heart emoji.

In a final story reposted by Paola Anderson, the partners could be seen enjoying dinner together, captioning with Christmas emojis.

The timing aligns perfectly with the NHL’s annual holiday roster freeze, which runs from December 20 to December 27, allowing players and their families to enjoy some stability during the holidays.

On the ice, the Canadiens are still holding their own. They now sit fourth in the Atlantic Division. They’re coming off a tough 5-4 OT loss to the New York Rangers. They next face the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday.

For the moment, though, the spotlight is on holiday cheer, friendship, and enjoying time together, a nice reminder that life around hockey is about more than just wins and losses.
