Breaking: Four dead, five hospitalised after minivan crash in Victoria’s north

Four people have died and a further five have been hospitalised after a minivan crashed into a tree near Victoria’s border with New South Wales.
The wounded include three children, who have been flown to hospital.
Police said they believed the driver lost control of the vehicle — which was carrying nine occupants — on Chapel Road in Muckatah, near Cobram, at about 5pm.
Four passengers, who are yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The driver and another passenger were taken to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.
The ages of the deceased are not known.
The crash sparked a major emergency response, with at least three air ambulances and advanced life support paramedics in attendance, according to Ambulance Victoria.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are on their way to the scene.
Police say the exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined.
