Some NJ school districts delay opening Monday as icy conditions loom

Why is my tire pressure low in car when it’s cold out?
With winter approaching and the temperatures getting colder, ever wonder why the tire pressure light is on in your car?
Several New Jersey school districts announced delayed openings for Monday, Dec. 15, as forecasters warned of hazardous conditions overnight and into the morning, including the potential for black ice.
“Exercise caution when traveling. Temps will drop into the teens tonight and untreated surfaces will refreeze,” posted the National Weather Service on X.
Wind chills are expected to fall to around zero, with winds reaching speeds up to 40 mph, officials said, urging residents to exercise caution while traveling.
