The City of St. John’s will table Budget 2026 this afternoon at its regular council meeting. It’s unknown whether or not St. John’s residents can expect a tax increase. Last year’s budget saw the most major spending in areas like transportation, construction, snow clearing, and housing projects. The council meeting, originally scheduled for Tuesday, was rescheduled for tomorrow, Monday, Dec. 15 at 3 p.m.
