3 semi, 1 car crash blocks northbound I-5 in Tumwater for hours

All lanes of northbound Interstate 5 were closed in Tumwater after a major crash on Monday morning. The two right lanes reopened around 9 a.m.

Washington State Patrol Trooper Kameron Watts said the crash around 5 a.m. involved three semi trucks and a car that hit a barrier near U.S. 101. The left southbound lane is also closed by a barrier that was displaced in the crash.

The Washington State Department of Transportation said a crew was fixing the damaged barrier in the left lane.

Injuries reported in the crash are minor.

Traffic was diverted to Deschutes Parkway.
