Erika Kirk, the widow of slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk, and right-wing influencer Candace Owens will meet for a “private, in-person discussion” on Monday, Dec. 15.

Owens, a former employee at Turning Point USA, the organization which Charlie Kirk co-founded, has spread conspiracy theories about his Sept. 10 death, much to the ire of other conservatives.

Both Erika Kirk and Owens confirmed the meeting in social media posts, with Erika Kirk writing that they “agreed that public discussions, livestreams, and tweets are on hold until after this meeting.”

Erika Kirk added, “I look forward to a productive conversation.”

Owens wrote in response, “I am very much looking forward to this discussion.”

Kirk, 31, an ally of President Donald Trump, was shot and killed on Sept. 10 while speaking to students at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. The suspect, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, has been charged with aggravated murder and other felonies in Kirk’s death.
