A bride and groom in Staffordshire had a very memorable wedding after they were surprised by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.
The singer-songwriter sang for the couple during their first dance, performing ‘All My Love’ whilst their friends and family watched on.
Wearing a beanie, Martin played the piano whilst singing, and gave the couple a hug once the song was finished.
Alex Brown, one of the owners of Blithfield Lakeside Barns, said the groom’s mother contacted Coldplay asking them to send a congratulatory video to the couple on their wedding day.
But Chris Martin took it one step further – giving the couple a wedding they won’t forget!
The newlyweds, Mr and Mrs Hotchkiss, told ITV News Central: “My Mother-in-law contacted Chris’s team in hopes for a congratulatory message for our special day, but instead to be given this opportunity is staggering.
“We ensured to keep it secret as a surprise for our guests.
“We would like to thank Chris and his team for making our already special day, even more special. We know our 15 month old daughter was captivated by his song. We are forever grateful.”
