Shoppers looking to snap up a new TV or broadband deal are in luck because Virgin Media has a big freebie to give away with its bundles before Christmas.
The TV and broadband provider is handing out free pairs of Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses worth £299 with certain TV and broadband bundles – however, the deal ends on December 17, so shoppers will have to act fast before the deal expires.
The Ray-Ban smart glasses feature a 12MP ultrawide camera, open-ear speakers, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, 32GB of storage, and approximately four hours of battery life. They also include Meta AI for hands-free capture and AI assistance. It means that shoppers will be able to call, record and stream while using the glasses thanks to the glasses’ smart functions.

However, for those who don’t need the glasses, Virgin is also offering a £125 bill credit to customers who want to save money on their upcoming bills – perfect for tightening the purse strings after Christmas.
One thing to note is that the freebie or the bill credit doesn’t come with every single Virgin Media bundle.

And for those looking for a broadband package, Vodafone might be worth grabbing, with deals starting at £25 a month and covering up to £200 exit fees.
Regarding Virgin Media, Uswitch shared its thoughts on the provider and whether or not it was worth switching. They commented: “Virgin Media is a great option for any household that uses the internet a lot.
“And if you want access to the biggest TV shows, sports fixtures, and movies, Virgin’s TV offering is extensive and can be easily bundled with its other services.
“However, a broadband connection on the Openreach network might be a bit more reliable and consistent than Virgin Media’s network. So you might have a smoother experience with providers that use Openreach, such as BT, Sky, Plusnet, TalkTalk or NOW Broadband.”
