Beloved TikTok Star Passes Away at 31 — Tributes Pour In

Popular TikTok star Tucker Genal tragically passed away on Thursday, December 11, his brothers confirmed.
The social media star had amassed a following of more than 2.5 million on the video sharing app.

Tucker—who became popular on the social media platform for his challenge videos with brothers Connor and Carson Genal—took his own life, according to Parade.
“I don’t even know where to begin, You were my best friend and an even better big brother, my entire life I’ve spent looking up to you and trying to follow in your footsteps because you were always my hero,” Connor and Carson shared in a joint Instagram post on Monday, December 15. “I know one thing is for certain and that is that I will continue to spend the rest of my life looking up to you until we meet again. You were the kindest person I’ve ever met and the greatest brother that anyone could have ever asked for.”
The Genals, who also ran a shared TikTok profile called Hustle House, shared a series of photos with their late older brother.
“During this incredibly difficult time, we respectfully ask for privacy as we mourn and begin to navigate life without him. We are deeply grateful for the kindness and understanding shown to our family,” they added.
Prior to making a living from social media, Genal received his degree in business administration from Furman University, according to his LinkedIn profile. He was also a wide receiver for the university’s football team.

As news of Tucker’s passing began to spread, followers, fans and friends shared their heartfelt condolences for the family.
“I am so so sorry for you loss .. I’ve been following you all for a while now.. I may have started following Tucker first .. I never skipped a Genal brother video,” “Jersey Shore” star Deena Cortese commented on the brothers’ announcement post. “Having two boys and my husband having two brothers which remind me a lot of all of you .. your videos felt familiar .. breaks my heart to hear about your loss .. my heart is with you and your entire family 😢 “
“Dance Moms” alum Kendall Vertes wrote, “Sending an immense amount of love and prayers to you and your family, I am so so sorry for your loss.”
“I’m so sorry Carson & Connor. My heart is completely broken for your family. Getting to spend time with you guys and Tucker is something I’ll treasure forever and I’ll always remember the way you all lit up a room together. Sending so so so much love,” influencer Caitlyn Rae added.
