Madonna and Guy Ritchie Reunite in Rare Photo to Support Son Rocco

Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s son, Rocco, is feeling the love from his famous parents.

The 25-year-old artist celebrated the opening of his and Tony Cassanelli’s art exhibition by having his superstar mother and director father by his side.

In a rare reunion shared on his Instagram on Dec. 15, Rocco Ritchie is smiling and standing in between Guy Ritchie and Madonna.

Madonna is in burgundy tights with a black leather coat and red gloves, while “The Gentlemen” director is in a black turtleneck, pants and plaid blazer.

It had been almost two decades since the former husband and wife were photographed together.

“It’s obvious why some people might hold judgement against me, I don’t blame them. However, I am proud to be who I am,” Rocco Ritchie wrote. “but I’m even prouder to have both of my parents together in one room supporting me.”

He added about his exhibition, “The work should speak for itself, that’s why the show was called ‘Talk Is Cheap’.”

Madonna and Guy Ritchie welcomed their son in August 2000 before they got married in December 2000 at Skibo Castle, in the Scottish Highlands. After eight years of marriage, the couple divorced.

Rocco is Madonna’s second child. The “Like a Virgin” singer also shares her eldest daughter Lourdes with ex Carlos Leon. She is also mother to son David Banda, daughter Mercy and twin daughters Stella and Estere.

Just like his parents, Rocco Ritchie has been interested in the arts for years. He attended Central Saint Martins, where he studied fine art, as well as studied at Royal Drawing School.

“It certainly helped growing up in a house that was passionate about art and culture. Neither of my parents are painters, but both are artists in their own right and they taught me to appreciate and respect it,” he told Vogue Man Hong Kong in 2022. “Their shared fascination eventually piqued my interest and since I can remember I’ve always been surrounded by it.”

He added that after moving to London, he focused on his passion for art and got out of his comfort zone.

“I was fortunate enough to know what I wanted to do at a young age and once I had settled into art school, it kick-started my work,” he added.

Madonna, meanwhile, also supported her son by posting about the event on Instagram. She shared a slew of photos that included one of the two together, as well as with her other children.

“Art has a unique way of bringing people together, whether you’re in a theater watching a movie, a nightclub dancing to music or at an exhibition gathered around a painting, Art has a magical way of inspiring Human connection,” Madonna wrote. “Thank you Rocco for creating this experience with Blood Sweat and Tears. Talk is Cheap —Indeed.”
