And we have yet another millionaire thanks to the Texas Lottery. Rarely does a week go by in which we don’t see a million bucks handed out by the lottery these days.
It’s funny – earlier today, my coworker and I were talking about all of the lottery winners we’ve had here lately. Like me, she said she never buys lottery tickets because she never wins. Anyway, the latest lucky Texan scored the $1 million jackpot on a 500X ticket, according to a press release. The winner, who wisely elected to remain anonymous, bought the winning ticket at Star Mart 15, located at 1903 N. 1st St., in Copperas Cove.
While most of the jackpot-winning tickets in the game have been claimed already, there are still three $1 million winning tickets in circulation. The thing about it is that while the game will award $1 million to 15 people, you have to be willing and able to throw down $50 on a ticket. If that’s where you’re at, hopefully you’ll be the next Texas millionaire.
