‘Stuff-up on his end’: Cameron Green reveals manager’s mistake amid IPL availability confusion

Cameron Green has admitted there’s been a “stuff-up” from his management around his IPL bowling availability as he prepares to go to auction.
The all-rounder had been listed as a batter for Tuesday’s IPL 2026 auction after his troubles with injury before The Ashes started.
However, Green has bowled with no issues in the first two Tests and confirmed he will be able to roll the arm over in the IPL.

“I don’t know if my manager would like to hear this, but there was a stuff-up on his end,” Green said on Sunday before the Adelaide Test.
“He didn’t mean to say ‘batter’. I think he accidentally selected the wrong box. It was pretty funny how it’s all played out, but it was actually a stuff-up on his end.

“I’ll be good to bowl.”
Green confirmed he would be watching the auction along with his teammates as franchises bid for his services.
The 26-year-old has previously played for Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru but wasn’t available this year.
Green is likely to demand a big price at the auction and will enter the auction at the base price of approximately $339,000.
The all-rounder was bought for $3.15 million with Mumbai in 2023 but this season’s bid won’t reach that height with a salary cap of $3.05m for overseas players.
