$500,000 lottery ticket sold at Colorado Springs-area Maverick

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – A purchase at a Security-Widefield convenience store has left one person significantly richer!
Colorado Lottery announced Monday that a Powerball ticket worth $500,000 was sold at the Maverick at the corner of Main Street and Security Boulevard. The player matched five out of five numbers on Double Play in Saturday night’s drawing.
“Double Play is the $1 add-on that allows players to play their numbers, again, in a separate drawing for a chance to win up to $10 million,” Colorado Lottery explained.
And speaking of chances, there’s still a chance to become Colorado’s next big winner! The Powerball jackpot is now $1.1 billion, and that drawing is Monday night!
