The majority of Penn Station service is being diverted to alternate terminals while Amtrak responds to a broken rail west of Woodside, while track capacity is also severely limited from Amtrak’s Penn Station tunnel work.
Commuters are asked to consider using Grand Central or Atlantic Terminal service instead of taking the subway to and from Jamaica.
The subway is cross-honoring LIRR tickets.
Expect cancellations and delays.
