WWE star criticizes Trump, calls out peers for standing by him: ‘Beyond me’

A WWE star has taken to social media to weigh in on President Donald Trump’s recent remarks about Rob Reiner.

On Monday, Nick Foley shared a post by musician Jack White, in which White called Trump a “disgusting, vile, egomaniac, loser, child.” The wrestler added his own comment in an Instagram story, writing:

“What (Jack White) said here is spot on,” via X/Twitter. “How any of my WWE colleagues stand by, let alone stand next to this man, is beyond me.”

In the wake of Reiner’s and his wife, Michele’s, murder, Trump delivered an unusual eulogy.

In a Truth Social post shared on X/Twitter, Trump called Reiner “tortured and struggling,” claiming that his death was “due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS.”

Several WWE stars have publicly shown their support for Trump. The most prominent tie is with the McMahon family: Linda McMahon, wife of former WWE chairman and CEO Vince McMahon, currently serves as the Secretary of Education.

Among the wrestling superstars, the late Hulk Hogan appeared at the Republican National Convention to endorse Trump during his 2024 run. Also, Hall of Famers like The Undertaker and Kane have also expressed their backing for the President.

Foley is famously known as “The Hardcore Legend.” He gained worldwide fame in WWE (then WWF) during the late 1990s for his popular personas Mankind, Dude Love and Cactus Jack. He is a three-time WWF Champion and a WWE Hall of Fame inductee.
