This is not the most pressing issue in the trailer for Disclosure Day, Steven Spielberg’s newest film out in June 2026, but isn’t Colin Firth looking a little bit like Bill Pullman lately? He’s got the gray beard, the strong jaw — look, maybe there’s no time to get into it, because it’s starting to look like aliens are once again making their way to Earth and only Spielberg can guide us through it. Disclosure Day stars 2025’s golden boy Josh O’Connor, Emily Blunt, and the aforementioned not Bill Pullman that is Colin Firth, along with a real rogue’s gallery of character actors like Elizabeth Marvel and Colman Domingo. There are also some CGI deer and cardinals, who either are aliens or warning about the aliens or some secret third thing. Otherwise, he’s got all the trappings of a classic alien flick: crop circles, weird alien noises, people with glowing eyes, and all sorts of ominous signs that we may not be alone. Well, if extraterrestrials are coming down to Earth, there are worse people to spend a hostile (or maybe peaceful) takeover with than Josh O’Connor.
